R S, as he is popularly called, is known for his intellectual approach
to music. A product of the Central College of Carnatic Music, he's had
the privilege of learning from titans like Tiruppambaram Swaminatha
Pillai, Musiri Subramanya Iyer and T
Brinda. He is known for his
imaginative presentation and is considered an expert on Pallavis. He
has served as a lecturer of Central College of Carnatic Music, Reader
of Delhi University for over 25 years. |
