SICA TO CELEBRATE 42ND ANNUAL ART FESTIVAL |

The South Indian Cultural Association, Hyderabad, which has been serving the cause of music and other performing arts for several years now, will be celebrating its 42nd annual art festival between March 11 and 18, 2002 at the prestigious national theatre, Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. Veteran violinist Lalgudi G Jayaraman will be honoured on this occasion by His Excellency, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. C Rangarajan. The felicitation function will be followed by a concert of the maestro accompanied by his son G J R Krishnan and daughter, Vijayalakshmi. The schedule is as follows: |
