 Tanjavur K P Sivanandam

K P Sivanandam is the seventh generation representative of the Tanjavur Quartette. He learnt music and Bharatanatyam from his grandfather, Pandanallur Meenakshisundaram Pillai and his father Ponniah Pillai. He learnt Vina from Desamangalam Subramanya Iyer and Gomati Sankara Iyer. His rich heritage and intense practise are reflected in his Vina playing.
