Sheikh Chinna Moulana
He hailed from a family of musicians. His father, Sheikh Kasim Sahib, a great Nagaswaram vidwan and later Adam Sahib, were his first gurus. He later trained under Sri Rajam and Duraikannu, brothers of Nachiarkoil and learnt the Tanjavur Bani. He was an artiste in great demand and performed extensively in India and abroad. He served as an honorary professor at the Tiruvayyar Music College in Tanjore district. He established a school for Nagaswaram, the Sarada Nagaswara Sangeeta Ashram at Srirangam.
