| Srinivas brought the mandolin to the Carnatic scene and established himself as a highly talented child prodigy even before his 10th year. Having learnt mandolin initially from his father U Satyanarayana and later under guru Subbaraju, Srinivas enriched the scene with his attractive style and flying fingers on the tiny mandolin, which he modified to suit the needs of Carnatic music. He has taken many countries of the world by storm and has toured countries like Cuba, which no Carnatic musician has visited so far. |
