Can any body help me with the name of the raga that has the arohanam and avarohanam of ragam "Mohanam" with just the "Rishabahm" changed to "suddha Rishabam".

I could not find any raga with the scale you mentioned. It had to be in mELA 16 (cakravAka). The closest rAgA is SRGPS/SDPGRS which is known as rasikaranjani.

There is one raga called ' VARNARUPINI " with the same Arohana and Avarohana of Mohanam except the rishabham. For Rag., Varnaroopini it is Sudharishabham. Rag Varnaroopini is a jenya of 17th Mela Suryakantham. This raga possess some similarity, here and there, to the Hindusthani Rag "Bhatiar". Thanjavoor Sri. G. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, a popular Ashtapadi & Sampradaya Bhajan Singer of Chennai, (Thyagu Bhagavathar), sings Abhangs in this Rag during his Bhanjan performances. To quote an example, the popular Abhang " NAM HE NAGARI VAIKUNTA PANDARI, NANTHATHO SRI HARI PANDURANGA"( a composition of Sant Narahari Sonar)he sings in this rag Varnarupini.
