Dear Music lovers,
agni Cultural Academy, an institution born with a vision of
nurturing Indian Classical Music through various studies and
projects, is proud to announce its 2nd National workshop and
Orientation Programme for students and aspirants of Carnatic
Music along with a 3 day Grand Music festival, to be held on 12th,
13th and 14th of June 2009, at The Landmark Auditorium,
Annamanada.
agni has arranged a wide range of music education programmes
like workshops on various aspects of music, orientation
programme which guides the young aspirants in the right way,
chat programme with legends, discussions on creative topics
etc. Music concerts by musical stalwarts and young talent
promotional programmes are also arranged in this occasion.
agni features a pannel of great musicians and scholars of
Carnatic Music for music education programmes which aspirants
of music can benefit a lot for their bright career in Music. Agni,
as part of its Cultural value, honours the great music teachers of
the day by conferring the title”Nadacharya”. This year, Agni has
selected the veteran musician cum great teacher Sri. Mangad
K.Natesan for the 2nd “Nadacharya” Award.
agni hosts this mega event in co-operation with the like-minded
organisations in and around Annamanada. We welcome you all
for this great occasion to Annamanada, the cultural village of
Kerala and requests you all to make this event a grand success.

should register their names before 31st Mayí09(Registration can be done online -logon to
www.agnionline.org). Concession for students from
colleges and any private institutions is provided. Registered students should reach
the venue on 12th Juneí09 between 3 PM & 9 PM.
Students who come in group (10 and above), if informed earlier, will be provided
transportation facility to the venue from the Chalakudy Railway / KSRTC bus stations.
Separate accommodation facilities are arranged for boys & girls.

How to Reach the Venue
Participants coming from any part of Kerala, can get down at Chalakudy Railway
station. Participants, who come by bus, can get down at Chalakudy KSRTC Bus
station. Agniís Volunteers will guide you from both points to the venue. The venue is
just adjacent to the Annamanada private Bus station.
