The Course: The Navavaranams of Oottukkadu Venkata Kavi are now acknowledged to be the first of their kind. The ragas and talas used by Venkata Kavi include the rare and popular, the simple and the sophisticated, and the lyrical aspects are at once scholarly and soulful. All krtis are all in Sanskrit.
