Azhagiya Desam: Depict the richness of our cultural heritage through this contest. It is a team effort and each team can have 8 to 10 members. All the team has to do is enact the facts and cultural uniqueness of one Indian state. Allotment of state will be done purely on the basis of lots. Enactment can be done either through dance, music, drama, audio-video or a combination of any of these things. The time available for each team is a minimum of 6 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes. The team can bring backdrops, cassettes and CDs, if necessary. We will provide a screen and CD projector, if prior information is given to us.

Mettu Podu: As the name suggests, you have to tune a song within a given time. We will provide the lyrics. The tune should be original and should not resemble or be a replication of any other song. In such an event, the individual or team may be disqualified. This contest is available as two categories - solo and team.

For the solo event, only one participant is allowed from each school and a best composer award will be given. For the team effort, any number of composers are allowed, but they must be specified at the beginning itself. The team can also bring its own music band. Apart from the regular instruments, unconventional ones such as matchboxes, spoons, vessels etc. can be used.

The time available for both categories is 3-4 minutes.

Innisai Yogam: Yoga and music! Yes, relax your mind and body and win a prize for it! Again a team effort - each team can comprise 8-10 members. All you need to do is perform a set of yoga exercises to music. Only thing, the yoga and music must be relevant and go well together. You can choose the yoga asanas and music (any kind of music like Carnatic, Devotional, Hindustani, Western, Film or other systems are allowed). You can bring your own cassettes/CDs and backdrops. We will provide a screen and CD projector, if prior information is given to us. Time available is a minimum of 6 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes.
